MacFarland Middle School
MCN Build transformed and expanded the historic MacFarland building into an avant-garde middle school. Modifications included new entrances, creating open access to the library and updated skylights that draw natural light into the facility. The boiler room was converted into a modern library and media center that features a central atrium. Initially constructed in 1923, the state-of-the-art facility now features several cutting-edge sustainability elements including photovoltaic panels and a green roofing system.
