The Lubber Run Community Center is a 2022 North American Copper in Architecture (NACIA) Award Winner. The building’s copper system that wraps the north facade was chosen for its ease of maintenance due to its patina over time and its improvement with age. Projects were judged by a panel of industry experts for their copper system design, integration of copper alloys with overall building design, the craftsmanship of installation, and excellence in innovation or restoration.
